Definition of Reiki
"The ability to perform Reiki comes from internal freedom.
The power to be free from tension, stress, and anger."
- Nikita Dudani
Reiki as an energy healing technique
Reiki comes from Japan and means in Japanese:
⁃ „Rei“ = the subtle universal energy which includes the dimensions of the soul and spirit;
⁃ „Ki“ („Chi“ or „Qi“) = the vital energy which circulates in our physical and mental body, therefor the human dimension.
I was trained and initiated at the 1st and 2nd degree by Masters Aurore Dulac, who was trained, initiated and advanced by Masters of Reiki. Reiki is the bridge between both spheres; linking the universal energy to our vital energy in order to activate our self-healing processes.
We all have our own ability to heal ourselves like a wound that disappears by its own on our arm. Reiki is a practice that belongs to the energy disciplines by which the practitioner acts on the vibratory fields of the consultant. It is important to note that Reiki is free from any religious beliefs and does not require being a spiritual Master of any kind. In fact, we all are already spiritual. That‘s our true nature.
This ancient practice is now part of so-called alternative, unconventional therapies that are used individually or as a complement to traditional medical treatment, and is even recognised by health insurance companies in certain countries such as Sweden, Switzerland and Germany.
The effects of Reiki:
-
Provides a natural energy supplement,
-
Re-harmonises body and mind,
-
Boosts self-healing processes,
-
Relieves pain and stress,
-
Supports the release of blockages and traumas (cellular memory),
-
Supports a meditative/mindfulness state,
-
Helps to reach a state of relaxation,
-
Strengthens the immune system (releases toxins),
-
Optimises or assists medical treatment.
Reiki treatment does not replace a medical and/or psychotherapeutic treatment. It is important that treatments are not stopped before consulting your doctor or psychologist/psychotherapist.
